“ My fiancé and I visited Djakarta Cafe the day before our wedding to enjoy a delicious meal together. We ordered the grilled ribs and pizza, both of which were absolutely mouthwatering (unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of them). We also ordered refreshing drinks. My fiancé was carrying my Nike running shoes for a photoshoot after the wedding ceremony. However, after we finished our meal, he accidentally left my shoes at the cafe (we visited at midnight, and remember the forgotten shoes at 2 AM in the morning!) My fiancé immediately contacted Djakarta Cafe, and they responded promptly. When I arrived to retrieve my forgotten shoes, their staff kindly waited for me, even though it was already past their working hours. This unforgettable experience left me in awe of the exceptional service provided by the Djakarta Cafe crew! Truly superb! ”
“ A wide choice of food at an acceptable cost. The food has always been tasty and boasts of a considerable portion size. The service is prompt..but the open doors reduces the effect of AC. Another major flaw is the sinking floor. The floor is tilted and sinking at some places..But do visit if variety of food and taste are what you are looking for. ”
“ i have mixed feelings about this place. this place is located strategically near the sarinah area. this place opens until late, a good option if you're looking for a restaurant instead of a bar or night club. the sofa is also comfortable. the music is mostly good. they play the music through their speakers. the food is mostly nice. you don't need to wait for too long. for nasi gila, the dish is tasty and savory, but the rice is a little too dry. for kungpao chicken, the rice is perfect, and the chicken is crispy with sweet and sour sauce. the waiters are different. some of them are helpful and nice. but some others, mostly male, are not so helpful. i kept calling them for help and they just had a chat with other waiters. i tried to raise my voice calling them but seemed like they didn't hear. i wasn't comfortable raising my voice too loud because it would sound rude. they should look out the customer rather than spending their time having conversation with their co workers. ”
“ Living legend cafe which been serving Jakarta for long time ago. The food has lots of variants and taste good as well. The interior still has classic touch. They have large screen which is suitable for nobar events or just gathering with presentation. Live music also available on the weekends or special events. Service is quick and excellent too. “ Good place to hangout with your friends for a dinner in a middle of Jakarta. - Food type : Pizza, salad, steak, appetizer, etc - Zone : has 2 zones, air conditioned zone and terrace zone. Obviously terrace is for smoking zone but sometime air conditioned zone is also smokable, too. - Beverage : Beers, juices, soft drinks and more. Table : ~ 40 - 50 tables - Queuing time : almost none. - Time to serve : ~15 min - Language : English is ok. - Taste : good for appetizers, moderate for Pizza. - Servicing : fair to good, up to waitress or waiter. ”
